The feeling of relief that comes when you finally set your heart and mind to do something you’ve always dreamt of doing. I know you’ve been there, we all have. It looks different for us all. If you’re reading this today – it’s because I’ve finally conquered fear and started to do what I love which is write. Sounds familiar? Isn’t it amazing how once you set your mind to do something, obstacles suddenly arise? For me that looked like hopes of pushing this blog out on the first of January and then my laptop crashed. I lost momentum and my therapist had to remind me not to make excuses. So here I am, two weeks into the new year; becoming a woman that keeps her word and accomplishing those things that I’ve set my mind too. So let me ask you, going into this New Year what is something you need to overcome? How has fear been crippling you?

the enemy will always try to make obstacles seem louder than what they should be. This reminder is perfect and I will carry this into my day today. I need to overcome the thought of “if it’s not working out the way I hoped then it wasn’t meant for me” like your therapist said those are just excuses to keep us from going. Our minds are so powerful. Thank you for this post! So happy you overcame!!
